Evolve Organic Beauty launched in 2015 with the aim of making green and healthy living as easy as possible.
Their organic, natural, vegan and cruelty free skincare range is produced by hand in their Hertfordshire studio, using only natural super-food ingredients sourced from around the world.
When Evolve offered to send a couple of samples, I couldn’t wait to give them a whirl. I’m always looking to add organic and vegan products to my skincare routine.
Here’s what I’ve been using over the last week and how I’ve been getting on:
Liquid Crystal 2-in-1 Micellic Cleanser
This light, subtle smelling cleanser and toner is made from Pomegranate Extract, Hyaluronic Acid and Organic Rose Water. I’ve been applying this to my face and neck using a cotton wool pad in the morning and evening and it’s so refreshing to use. In the morning it helps to wake your skin up, giving it a subtle glow, leaving it feeling clean and really soft. In the evening it effectively removes make up (even my stubborn mascara) while not effecting my usually super-sensitive skin.
Radiant Glow Organic Face Mask
The first thing I noticed about this face mask was the luxurious bounty-bar scent. Created using Raw Cacao, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Shell Powder and fragranced with Organic Vanilla Oil, it smells good enough to eat. I applied a thick layer all over my face and left for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off in the shower. The Coconut Shell Powder works to gently exfoliate while the Almond Oil moisturizes and hydrates, resulting in super smooth and silky skin.
Nourishing Hair Elixer – Dry Hair Serum
As someone who uses only the tiniest amount of conditioner when washing their hair I tend to stay away from using anything oil-based on my locks. However, willing to give the Hair Elixer a go I rubbed just two drops between my hands and smoothed through the ends of my damp hair. After blow drying and straightening I was pleasantly surprised at how silky and more manageable my hair was and not greasy in the slightest. This has totally changed my opinion of using hair oils and I’ve used it after every wash ever since.
