Meet ‘hypha’, Chester’s first sustainable plant-based restaurant, where veganism is not viewed as a ‘niche’ or ‘subculture’ but as a lifestyle, and where animal-free products aren’t just an after-thought or featured as a spec on a menu.

Sustainability is at the forefront of hypha’s thinking. From promising to responsibly source ingredients from carefully selected local suppliers to keeping their carbon footprint and waste to a minimum.

Only today has it has been reported in the news that “the meat and dairy industries are on track to be the world’s biggest contributors to climate change, outpacing even the fossil fuel industry.” It is projected that this could be halved if everyone adopted a vegan diet. hypha are passionate about catering to those people who strive to make a positive difference… but they need a just a little help to make this happen!
